Exiting news!…unless this Cloud Suite turns out to be sour (instead of sweeeeeet).

Please join VMware executives Paul Maritz, CEO and Steve Herrod, CTO for the unveiling of the next major step forward in Cloud infrastructure.
The presentations emphasized the numerous layers in the so called “cloud stack”. There are audio and video clips where the speakers describe several layers in the software stack that represent product features, storage configuration options and powerful infrastructure deployment and management tools.
Citrix apparently acquired cloud.com recently because they (citrix) must have heard that VMWare was bringing out a suite of Cloud software and services that would make cloud.com a good deal to buy for millions of dollars or because the market for enterprise infrastructure cloud services providers isn’t very big. or maybe it is.
Anyways, joking aside. VMWare presented and published a lot of information today and I thought it might be fun to blog about.
Consulting Promotion
Consultants do not get promoted. Good consultants PROMOTE THEMSELVES.
The truth is that the internet is a place where anyone can promote almost anything they want to promote. The number of free resources that provide a medium for promotion available to internet users is huge and continues to increase.
Youtube.com and twitter.com are very popular and very well suited as platforms for promoting businesss, web sites, songs or almost anything. I use them because they are free and easy.

Robot Radio Signal Google Analytics
I am using Google Analytics with my site Robot Radio Signal
Google Analytics has all the features of a great web analytics package.
I am currently researching data security and data leak prevention for the Google Analytics package in order to help answer a linkedin.com question
Detecting a data leak security for any popular web enabled analytics package is not something I have concerned myself with or even considered a method to approach in theory or in practice, but I am thinking about it now.
Integrating Google Analytics and running reports is very easy. Googles security practice recommends protecting the unique key for each Google Analytics account.
Here is the home screen for my account that shows the basic interface.
I will continue to blog about Google Analytics security related topics on the following locations as I discover more information.
My Social Media Exepertise
If there is always more than one way to do something, how do you know what the best way to do something really is???
The answer to this question is obviously subjective and every individual may answer it differently.
I would say the answer may be: There are as many ways to do something as there are people to do it.
It might be true, and if it were, what would be the result of that? Chaos perhaps.
What does this have to do with Social Media because there are obviously not as many ways to do social media as there are people to do it.
Free social media outlets are everywhere (on the internet) and provide a variety of platforms to carry marketing and advertising for any type of business or individual. I’m using social media as both a business platform as well as a personal comedy tool to make me laugh. Twitter, Digg, Facebook, Ning,YouTube, Google, Yahoo, Myspace and more.

FREE Social Networking Advocation
This blog is an expression of the things that I like about social networking.
Everyone knows that there are TONS of social networking tools and services available for FREE.
I’ve recently began using as many of them as I can for the purpose of understanding the technologies used to facilitate social networks.
What is the thing I like the most?
The technology is FREE to the all users. You just have to have the courage to sign in start using them all.
IMHO, the most interesting are the so called “Location Based Social Networks”.
The best part of LBSN is the targeted advertising features for mobile devices.
I’ve used the targeted advertising features from each of the social networks that I participate in and am very pleased with the results. The features are easy to use and offer great privacy controls. I suggest everyone USE them. In fact, I am going to start heavily advocating the use of LBSN to everyone.
I use all of these services (because they are FREE)
GyPSii is a location-based network that allows users to upload photos, videos and other information about what they’re up to and then geo locate it. Geo location is when a user, for example, takes a photo of an ice cream stand, uploads the photo to GyPSii’s service and then adds the GPS location to it. Once everything is tagged and loaded, GyPSii pushes the image out to other users with a location on an online map that lets friends see where you are and how to find the spot you took the picture.
